I’m a teacher who works with learners of all ages, from young children to adults, and I have ADHD.
I didn’t know that growing up. I just knew I felt different. I was the daydreamer. The kid with the messy notebook. The “careless mistakes.” The late projects.
It often felt like everyone else got the directions to life… and I didn’t.
As an adult, it looked like:
- missed appointments
- forgotten bills
- running late
- big ideas that were hard to finish
